We also specialise in efficient CNC Forming, expert Welding with extensive experience, and superior Finishing techniques such as graining, polishing, painting, plating, and screen printing. Additionally, our logistics ensures prompt, safe delivery. Our commitment is to meet and exceed customer expectations, by supplying into the highest line of integration, and fostering lasting partnerships.

01 : Product Support

Easton Sheet Metal Ltd.’s engineers offer full assistance through-out the design process and product construction.

We understand how beneficial it is to our customers to have an efficient, authentic and communicative supply chain. We are supportive in our approach and, if required, we are able to make suggestions that will aid the manufacture of your parts in an effort to meet and exceed these objectives.

By also offering post-production support and a desire to continually improve and aid you in your product development, we ensure customer satisfaction and long and productive partnerships with all our customers.

02 : Additional Services

We work in a range of materials including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Copper, Brass and several other speciality materials, as our customers require.
Our advanced machining capabilities. Your product can also be linished clean to provide a blemish free finish for further treatments such as plating (including hard and coloured anodising), wet paint, powder coating or screen printing.
Our Assembly and sub-assembly department use documented and established inspection procedures to examine and verify our processes which may reduce the need for such vigorous inspection/testing at customer site.

03 : CNC Laser Cutting

CNC Laser Cutting is one the most accurate and time efficient methods used to cut many different types of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel. Our technological investment means that we can cut a variety of different thicknesses.

Laser cutting requires no extra tooling costs. Any shape that can be produced by our CAD/CAM software can be cut, meaning that even complex and irregular shapes are easily processed time after time with consistent accuracy and quality. These drawings are sent direct from our design offices to the machine using PDF, DXF, IGIS as well as STEP and SAT files making the process faster and easier.

No material distortion, no edge witness marks, square cut edges, and close tolerances all mean that laser cutting reduces time spent in other processes needed to produce a final product, allowing Easton Sheet Metal Ltd. to quickly provide quality items to customers, exactly to their specifications.
Computer controlled high energy lasers are programmed to maximise the usage of a material by selecting the most efficient way to nest each part, reducing the amount of scrap left behind, and thus costs.

The combination of our Amada FOL 3015NT laser cutter and tower autoloader allows us to set up several jobs for the machine to process unmanned, meaning we can run our laser machine 24 hours a day to handle large volume orders if necessary.

04 : CNC Punching

Often the preferred choice for our customers, our first-rate CNC punch technology forms the core of our production.
The technology we use means that in every project we carry out, no matter how big or small, the costs can be kept to a minimum.

CNC Punching is a fast, repeatable and accurate method used to produce parts as a low-cost alternative to laser cutting. Our Amada LC 2012 punching machine is used to cut parts of all sizes. It is perfect for high volume orders, which it produces to a consistently high standard and speed desired by our customers.

Our punch technology allows us to work with materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, copper, brass and other speciality materials of varying thicknesses.

05 : CNC Forming

CNC forming has many benefits for both the customer and supplier. It has a wide range of tooling options, fast set-up times, and high repetition rates. Each piece of metal is automatically measured, monitored and corrected as part of the process to ensure each bend is 100% accurate, therefore reducing waste and cost. Easton Sheet Metal Ltd. is able to pass these benefits on to its customers, saving time and money.

While we can work with a range of materials, we are typically asked to process aluminium, stainless and mild steels. We are able to form pieces far larger than many standard machines. Our forming machines can take up to 3 metre lengths and we work in several different thicknesses.

With 100% inspection in place at every stage of the forming operation, we are able to supply to the highest line of integration, thus reducing the need for customer inspection.

06 : Welding

Welding requires a high level of experience, dexterity and skill to consistently manufacture products, to exceed customer expectations.

At Easton Sheet Metal Ltd. we have extensive welding facilities with over 200 years combined experience. As such, we are able to face any welding challenges that our customers may have and help them to find efficient and effective solutions.

Our welders are proficient in the welding of a range of different materials including aluminium, stainless and mild steels as well as a range of different techniques including:

• MIG/TIG
• Stud welding
• Spot welding
• Oxy/Acetelyn

We have recently invested in a robotic double welding cell to improve repeatability, consistency and reliability which has reduced the over-reliance on in-house inspection processes.

07 : Finishing

One of the final, yet essential, stages to the manufacturing process is finishing. Easton Sheet Metal Ltd. has the capability of all kinds of finishes required by our customers.

Our experienced staff use a combination of hand tools and Kuhlmeyer grinding machines to produce a consistent, high-quality finish including graining and polishing.

If required, your product can be linished clean to provide a blemish free finish for further treatments such as plating (including hard and coloured anodising), wet paint, powder coating or screen printing.
We excel in our supply chain management and use only trusted and approved suppliers to support your product development.

Our Assembly and sub-assembly department use documented and established inspection procedures to examine and verify our in-house processes, in-turn reducing the need for such vigorous inspection/testing at customer site.
With an eye for detail, we are able to produce a product which will integrate seamlessly into your production line at the highest level.

08 : Logistics

At Easton Sheet Metal Ltd. we provide our customers with a fast and effective delivery service. Our fleet of 7 vehicles provide flexible, secure and reliable solutions for the transportation of customer products. We are able to respond quickly to just-in-time (JIT) ship lot orders and have extensive experience in the management of kanban systems. This allows us to help you regulate your production, so you don’t have to.

We help our customers develop carrying systems, trollies, frameworks, if requested, to help transport product straight to the production line and remain environmentally conscious by reducing waste and packaging materials wherever possible.
